Where do I start with this one…..
He is my friend and my enemy, my rock and my weakness, and my happiness and my frustration. Most importantly, he has been there when no one else was. He gave me an amazing family and has shown me how to keep fighting. He taught me how to work through the tough times and push for even better. He has given me more than I could ever ask for in a partner. Life may be rocky as fuck and we might be conquering the storm on our tiny sail boat but we will survive today and hope to see the sunrise tomorrow.
Scott and I met when we were just 14 years old. It was the summer going into our Freshman year of high school. I was visiting my aunt’s house for the week and he was the new kid on the block who had just moved from Missouri. He was quite and shy and so damn cute. I spent pretty much that entire summer at my aunt’s house because Scott was there. We lived about 30 miles away from each other, and when you’re a kids without a car, that is a long ways away from your boyfriend. Needless to say we “broke up” once school started. When we were 16 we dated again for a short period of time, but again, distance and school and work got in the way and it didn’t work out.
Once we both graduated Scott got back in touch with me and we started dating sometime back in July of 2008. It has been a rocky road for us with lots of fights and break-ups along the way, but each time we work hard to get our life back on track. We have gone through so much together over the past 14 years and every day we work hard to keep our relationship strong
